Everything you need to pot up and label three plants: three 5 gallon Barney's Farm fabric grow bags, three colour-coded plant labels in the seed type you choose, and a permanent marker to write on them. Seeds and clones sold separately.
Fabric bags that air-prune the roots
In a plastic pot a root reaches the wall, turns, and keeps circling until the container is a solid mass of root. In fabric the root tip meets dry air at the wall and stops there, and the plant pushes out side roots behind it. The result is a fibrous root system spread evenly through the whole bag. The free-draining walls also make overwatering and soggy roots far less likely, and reinforced handles make moving plants in and out of a tent easy.
17.7 litres per bag
Five gallons holds enough medium to carry a compact plant from seed to harvest, or a plant kept short with a two to three week veg. One standard 50 litre bag of potting mix fills close to three of these, which is the whole kit. Fill to about two centimetres below the rim so water has somewhere to sit while it soaks in.
Read the whole tent at a glance
Two plants of the same age look identical from above. Each label is colour-coded by seed type, so you can tell your plants apart from the doorway. The front carries the seed type and a photo of a finished plant. The back has write-on panels for the strain name and the key dates of the grow, so each plant's age and flowering time are in front of you at the plant rather than in a notebook in another room.
Ink that lasts to harvest
Ballpoint will not take on a printed label, water-based felt tip lifts the first time a label is splashed, and standard marker fades under a grow light within weeks. The Barney's Farm Permanent Marker is waterproof and fade resistant, so the writing is still readable at harvest when the information matters most.
Who it's for
Three plants grown seed to harvest, or kept short with a two to three week veg. It suits a 2x4 or 3x3 tent and matches our 3-seed packs and 3-clone minimum, one bag and one label per plant.
