Everything you need to pot up and label three plants: three 10 gallon Barney's Farm fabric grow bags, three colour-coded plant labels in the seed type you choose, and a permanent marker to write on them. Seeds and clones sold separately.
The size most indoor growers settle on
Ten gallons carries a plant from seedling to harvest with no repotting, and matches the four to six week veg where most indoor grows land. Below that a plant runs out of root space before flower finishes; above it you are paying for medium the roots never reach. A seedling or clone can go straight into the final bag: water a small circle around it for the first week or two, then widen the ring as the roots spread.
Fabric bags that air-prune the roots
In fabric the root tip meets dry air at the wall and stops there, and the plant pushes out side roots behind it, giving a fibrous root system through the whole bag instead of a circle of root around the outside. Fabric drains from every surface, so salts flush out rather than building up at the bottom, and reinforced handles let you lift a full bag in and out of a tent.
37.7 litres per bag
A single 50 litre bag of medium fills one with a little to spare. Leave a couple of centimetres of headroom at the top for watering and for any top dressing added later in the grow.
Read the whole tent at a glance
Two plants of the same age look identical from above. Each label is colour-coded by seed type, so you can tell your plants apart from the doorway. The front carries the seed type and a photo of a finished plant, and the back has write-on panels for the strain name and the key dates of the grow.
Ink that lasts to harvest
Ballpoint will not take on a printed label, water-based felt tip lifts the first time a label is splashed, and standard marker fades under a grow light within weeks. The Barney's Farm Permanent Marker is waterproof and fade resistant, so the writing is still readable at harvest.
Who it's for
Three plants or clones on a four to six week veg. It suits a 4x4 tent with one spot spare, and matches our 3-seed packs and 3-clone minimum, one bag and one label per plant.
