No. It is a supplemental light that works alongside a main overhead light such as an FC-E. Its job is to reach the lower branches that the top light cannot, so buds lower down fill out instead of staying small and airy.
Once the canopy has filled in and the lower branches sit in shade, usually from late veg through to harvest. Before that, the main light reaches the whole plant on its own.
Check the width first. The bar is about 44.5 inches (1130 mm) long, so it sits comfortably in a 4x4 tent or larger. In a 3' x 3' or 3.3' x 3.3' tent it will not lie flat across the floor.
On a standard US 120V supply, the daisy chain takes up to 6 lights. On 240V or 277V you can link up to 12.
It is IP65 rated, so splashes from watering, foliar spraying and cleaning are fine. It is not made to be submerged, and it is rated for use at up to 95°F.
Not to run it. Plugged straight in, it lights at full output. To dim it or put it on a schedule from the app, add the iControl Smart Grow Room Controller.
Yes. It ships in plain packaging with no "grow light" wording or brand labels on the outside.
