The nine channels run in a spiral along the inside of the tip. Smoke follows them rather than running straight through, which gives it more distance to cool and sets it spinning. Ash and small pieces of flower are thrown to the walls instead of reaching your mouth.
Lay the tip at one end of the paper, fill the rest with a medium grind, and roll as normal. Tuck the paper tightly around the glass so the joint does not slide off. When you finish, pull the roach off and the tip is ready to clean.
Once a week for a daily smoker, or after every few joints. Soak in isopropyl alcohol, clear the channels with a pipe cleaner, rinse in warm water and dry.
