Portland Grey is the RipTip without a pattern on it. Muted gray glass, the same nine-channel vortex as every other tip in the range, and sizes from 9 to 12mm.
A muted colorway
Gray goes with everything and does not shout. It suits smokers who prefer their kit plain, and it hides resin better than clear glass between cleans.
Airflow and even burning
A joint burns unevenly when it draws unevenly. The nine spiral channels in a RipTip spread the pull across the whole tip, which helps the cherry move straight down the joint instead of running along one side. The spiral also cools the smoke and keeps flower out of your mouth.
One tip, years of joints
Borosilicate glass is heat resistant and tough, so a RipTip that is cleaned and kept off hard floors lasts for years. That is one tip in place of hundreds of card crutches, and it leaves nothing behind but the roach.
Carrying it
Keep it in a tin or a soft pouch with your papers. Loose in a pocket with keys, any glass can chip at the mouthpiece.
