Nine spiral channels run along the inside of the tip. Smoke follows the spiral instead of running straight through, which gives it more distance to cool before it reaches your mouth. The spin also throws ash and small pieces of flower to the walls, so you get smoke and nothing else.
Soak the tip in isopropyl alcohol for 10 to 20 minutes, push a pipe cleaner through the channels, rinse in warm water and dry. Skip abrasive pads on the outside so the finish keeps its shine.
