The flavor is kushy and rich, with chocolate chip cookie, creamy mint and a little spice. The aroma is creamy and smooth, with the mint showing more as the buds dry.
Limonene, caryophyllene and eucalyptol lead the terpene profile. Eucalyptol brings the cool, fresh mint edge, caryophyllene adds peppery spice, and limonene gives a bright lift on top.
Biscotti Mintz is predominantly a deep purple plant. In the final days the leaves turn shades of purple, orange and green, wrapped around tight, dark green buds with bold purple highlights and long orange hairs.
Trichome production is extremely heavy. Cooler nights in the last two weeks deepen the purple, and a drop of about 10°F (5 to 6°C) below daytime temperature is enough.
The plant stays compact, finishing at 80 to 110cm (31 to 43 inches) indoors with yields of 600 to 700g/m². The short frame and small stretch make it a strong fit for small tents.
Top once and run a screen of green, or grow several smaller plants in a sea of green. Veg for about four weeks and keep daytime temperatures at 75 to 80°F (24 to 27°C).
Feed at a moderate strength with good calcium and magnesium support, because the Cookies side of Biscotti shows tip burn early.
Outdoors, Biscotti Mintz grows to 120 to 200cm (4 to 6.5 feet) and can produce up to 1,500g (about 3.3 lb) per plant, with harvest in the first to second week of October.
It does best in a warm, dry fall, and cool late-season nights bring out the strongest colors. In regions with early rain, a greenhouse protects the dense buds through the last weeks.
The buds finish tight and resinous, so hold relative humidity at 45 to 50% from week five and keep air moving through the canopy. Harvest when most trichomes are cloudy with a small share of amber.
Dry slowly for ten to fourteen days at around 60°F (16°C) and 60% humidity. Mint and citrus terpenes fade fast in a warm room, and a cure of at least three weeks brings the cookie and mint together.

Store Biscotti Mintz seeds in a cool, dark place in an airtight container, ideally in a refrigerator. Avoid freezing and make sure they are properly labeled and dated.
Germinate at 70°F-90°F (21°C-32°C). Below 70°F can delay or stop germination; above 90°F can cause poor germination and increase the risk of seedlings drying out.
If allowed in your location, we recommend using the paper towel method: place the seeds between damp paper towels, keep them warm and dark, and check daily to ensure the paper towel remains moist.
Once germinated, transfer them to soil or similar growth media, making a small hole 5-10 mm deep with a match or pen. Gently place the sprouted seed root-down in the hole. Avoid handling seeds with your hands; use a match or similar tool to position them.
No! By carefully transitioning your seedlings from small pots to larger containers, you can ensure your Biscotti Mintz plants develop strong, healthy roots that will support vigorous growth. Smaller pots tend to dry out more quickly, encouraging the roots to spread in search of moisture and nutrients, thereby allowing for better management of watering and nutrient uptake, promoting a healthier and more robust root system and growth potential.
